Entire books have been written on the subject of soil and compost. These components of your garden receive little fanfare but are, in reality, the most important elements to start your garden off right.
We use only the best possible soils, composts and fertilizers, many of which are created/sourced close to, or in our community. Some of our suppliers are based on Texada Island, Vancouver Island, the Sunshine Coast, and in some cases in the Lower Mainland. Our aim is to support suppliers located close to our region and with similar values as our own. In doing this, we are helping to keep small business people employed, cutting down on shipping distances, while providing the healthy, organic materials required for your gardens.
